Qdos Entertainment plc is chaired by Nick Thomas, the company he created in 1986 is now one of the largest, broad-based entertainment Groups in the UK. Focussed on family entertainmen t& traditional values, the Group has grown both organically and through a steady buy & build a strategy focusing on businesses that compliment the original model, managed by a coherent holding company. The Chairman and his supporting key management proactively manage each of the Groups divisions strategically and day to day.

Qdos is the worlds largest pantomime producer. John Barrowman, Joe Pasquale, Shane Richie & Brian Conley are amongst the high profile celebrities who will appear in the companies twenty one productions.

Qdos Hire Division was established in 2005 and has since gone from strength to strength. We have an ever growing client base, most of which return year after year whether it be for an annual pantomime, summer show, youth theatre project or even a partners birthday party! Clients include the Gaiety Theatre Dublin, Norwich Theatre Royal, Civic Theatre Johannesburg, Pricewaterhousecoopers LLP & many more.

The department is headed by Annabelle White alongside Mark Sherwood who is always on hand to assist with any technical queries and give professional advice.

Over the last couple of years our team have spent much time and effort collating a extensive photo library of our stock which has bought to light just how many fantastic items we have in both our scenic store as well as or costume department.

Although Qdos's niche business is producing first class pantomimes, we have over the years been involved in Summer Seasons from Blackpool Grand, Haven sites; touring musicals and childrens entertainers therefore we have an extensive collection of sets, props and backdrops to suit any event.

Our 100,000 square foot scenic store has the capacity to load out 4 articulated trailers at any one time, this is essential when it comes to loading out on around 20 of Qdos's own productions as well as, on average 15 hires during the hectic peak season. The building is packed from floor to ceiling with the highest quality theatrical stock enabling both Qdos Pantomimes and Hire Clients to create spectacular productions. Due to our dedicated, on site carpenters, scenic painters prop maker and technicians we can create specialist props and scenery at minimum cost to the client.

Our costume store with over 100,000 costumes mean we can compliment a scenic hire with a stunning selection of costumes carefully selected by our experienced team based in Scarborough.
